This exclusive one-night culinary event not only provided a hands-on mentorship opportunity but also showcased a unique tasting menu that left guests in awe.
Zulfikar Fahd, the featured Resident Chef, drew inspiration from his Indonesian heritage and family recipes. Signature dishes like Beef Rendang and Ayam Goreng beautifully reflected his culinary journey and cultural roots.

Introducing the George Brown Student Startup 🚀🍽️ powered by George Brown College Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts and Cookin.
Together, we’re empowering aspiring chefs to explore their entrepreneurial side as they venture into the world of food business ownership. In collaboration with this mission, GBC has hosted a month-long competition mentored by Chef John Higgins and the student champions will operate their own food business through the Cookin platform.
The store will operate from May 6 to the end of June. Each week, a new chef will operate the store and have their menu available for delivery and pick-up.
