Studio Seventy Three

We’ve been busy working on two very large orders, but we’ve still managed to squeeze in a few pieces for our shelves!

Fatima has recreated her evil eye coaster set, Jill has brought back her beautiful pride feather, and Mridu has created this stunning wildflower piece.

Meet Kurt!
Kurt first discovered a love for art as a young teen and has continued to build on that passion through fused glass. He specializes in highly detailed pieces featuring intricate scenery, with a strong focus on animals and nature.

Meet Jill!
A member of the Squamish Nation, Jill draws inspiration from both her culture and the natural world. Alongside her fused glass artwork, she also creates social justice pieces as part of the studio’s Give Back collection.

Another great year at Surrey Pride!

Today we attended the National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Moody Park in New Westminster. It was great to browse the many vendors and enjoy performances by DJ Kookum, Tsatsu Stalqayu Coastal Wolf Pack, miyo-pimatisiwin, and Juno Award-winning artist Fawn Wood.
