Dr. Wilbour Kelsick is the founder and Clinical Director of the MaxFit Movement Institute and a leading expert in sports and rehabilitative medicine. With over 40 years of clinical experience, he has served as medical staff for the Canadian National and Olympic teams for more than 30 years and participated in 11 Olympic Games. His expertise also extends to professional leagues such as the NHL and NBA and he has consulted with Olympic athletes globally, including from the USA, Africa, the Caribbean, and Sweden.

He holds a B.Sc. in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Kelsick is a Fellow of both the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) and the College of Chiropractic Rehabilitative Sciences (Canada).
A prolific contributor to sports medicine literature, Dr. Kelsick has published articles, contributed to key texts such as Fascia in Sport and Movement , Myofascial Magic, Functional exercise prescription, The shoulder theory & practiceand has lectured internationally. He is also the founder of the “Teach Me to Run Workshop,” which focuses on running technique, efficiency, and injury prevention. His work emphasizes functional anatomy, biotensegrity, and human movement science.
