One of the more difficult moments in care is when a patient is told everything looks normal.
But they do not feel normal.
They may still be dealing with memory issues, slower thinking, or difficulty concentrating.
That gap can be frustrating for both the clinician and the patient.
If we only rely on what we can see, we risk missing what is actually happening

A story we see all the time:
Teen athlete gets a concussion.
That teen athlete is now a working adult who starts experiencing brain fog.
Later life, that same adult begins having cognitive concerns.
Different moments. Same brain.
