Summer Volunteer Role: Robotics Assistant (High School Students)
Location: Surrey, BC + Online
Dates: July – August 2025
Shifts: Morning or Afternoon | 3–4 hours per day | Flexible Days
Are you a high school student who enjoys hands-on building, simple electronics, coding, arts and crafts, or organizing creative ideas? Join us this summer as a Robotics Assistant and help bring exciting robotics projects to life for our upcoming educational programs.
This is a great opportunity to get practical exposure to robotics, electronics, and coding—even if you’re just starting out. You’ll work independently or in small student teams to build, test, and document beginner-level projects.
Initial 1-2 weeks the work in Cloverdale BC office. Rest could be in person or at Home. This is NOT a camp instructor or instructor assistance role.
What You’ll Do:
• Build and test beginner-level robotics and electronics kits
• Test and refine simple code used in the projects
• Take clear photos and notes during the build process
• Help draft step-by-step guides and organize documentation
• Contribute to project evelopment with minimal supervision
What You’ll Gain:
• Volunteer hours for graduation
• A hands-on introduction to robotics, electronics, and basic coding
• Experience in creative documentation and independent project work
• A chance to explore your interests and strengthen your resume or portfolio
Who Can Apply:
• High school students (Grades 10–12)
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions independently
• Helpful if you have experience in STEM, electronics, coding, 3D printing, or arts and crafts
• Available for at least 3 shifts per week in July or August

Join us this July and August for an exciting Coding, Robotics & Digital Arts Camp at Cloverdale Robotics Centre!
Students ages 9 to 12 will dive into hands-on coding, robotics challenges, and creative digital art projects, all in a fun, kid-friendly environment. From programming robots and racing them through obstacle courses to designing dynamic digital art, each week offers new themes and activities to keep learners engaged and inspired.
Weekly camps run throughout July and August 2025.
