I’m also there for the chaos, dads fixing ties with proud, steady hands, wedding parties running across fields laughing like they’ve known each other for lifetimes, friends cheering you on as you step into the day you’ve been building together.

And I’m there when the emotions hit.
Like during the speeches, when your voice cracks, or when you wipe away a tear while holding the hand of the person who chose you forever.
Those are the moments that matter.
