I was a little overzealous and cut a whack of my logs up. I have approx 3000 bdft of 4/4 and 8/4 here. It ranges from 8’ to 12’ and standard grading cutting. Deals can be made on volume orders or you can come grab what you need for that up coming project.

Good day all!!! Haven’t posted in a while and that’s a good and bad thing. Mother nature has been on crack in January and caused some issues and hold ups on jobs being done. Also learned a few things which is always good Had this Stair job that had met questioning a lot of things but hey I want to share so you will all be aware if you weren’t before.
 With the extreme cold weather we had some issues with glue ups like never before. I never tried to glue up under a negative temp but the heaters I had in the shop were not sufficient. (Lesson 1) then I learned I’ve had my first batch of bad glue. I won’t name the company as it’s not their fault but I had never before had any issues through any winter with their glue. We apparently added to it by bringing warm glue into a cold shop. The separation was unbelievable, again I had never seen anything like it. But we again did what we had to do to get the job done. New jugs of glue, move glue ups to a warm environment and get the job done for the customer. A Lot longer than was promised for sure, but the only thing in life we can’t get back is time so you just adjust and move forward. Big thick floating stairs and platform. The beast did an amazing job flattening them even though he had is own break down. But I will even say with the new rails and carts he runs super smooth and leaves a sanded finish. Even the repair time was super quick once we got the parts. Now extras are kept.
