We are so grateful for you!

We do not get funded from any level of government, nor are we contracted to do any of our work. There is no one person that is the "owner" of the business, or the shelter, or the property. We are all volunteers who give our time, sweat, tears and yes finances to make sure the animals are looked after, medically treated, and that eventually available for adoption.

Our funds come from the community, from regular people like you, our donors, and through our fundraising efforts.

We know Things are tight right now, we know that $5 in your pocket could be the last coffee for the month BUT if you can, please share that $5 for the animals.

We are now in the position where animals need treatment, doesn't sound like much BUT it is a lot to us!

Please, support our next two events .....
June 13th and 14th 8am - 2pm Yard Sale, Plant Sale and BBQ at 24 Grigg Drive, Simcoe

June 20th 4pm - 11pm Annual Spay-ghetti and No-Balls Dinner, Evening of Games, Silent Auction and Art Auction at the Simcoe Legion 200 West St.

Meet Rhonda, RhondaDaisie and RhondaBrownie. Mom and her two babies were found wandering around local farmlands. The finders posted the mom and pups but noone came forward.
SimcoeDHumane was called to see if we could help ... another mom and pups needed help! We believe they are a Border Collie Husky mix, pups are about 10 weeks old and Mom about 2-3yrs.
Unfortunately, mom tested heartworm positive. She will have her vet appointment tomorrow to see what treatment is viable.
Heartworm does NOT need to happen.
Both suffering with heartworm AND the treatment can be so hard on the animal. Prevention is simple and is way easier and more economic than the cure!

Again, here is another animal that needs your support!

Please, come out to our Annual Yard, Plant Sale this weekend June 13 and 14 8am - 2pm. BBQ 11-2

Get your tickets to our Annual Spay-ghetti and No-Balls Dinner June 20th. Tickets are available at the shelter, Global Pet Foods, Pet Valu and Ruffin's Simcoe.

Your support will help us help these special animals that have found their way through the doors of the SimcoeDHumane.
