He’s here! 🤍 introducing Clark John Thurlow, who arrived Sunday December 14th at 3:48am, weighing 9lbs 1oz, and measuring 21” long. He is pure magic ✨
I want to thank my birth team, the and my doula who supported me through a physiological birth in the comfort of my own home. All I can say is women have special super powers 💪🏻
Sending love to all my patients - I miss you guys! I’ll be taking some time to rest and recover and figure out life as a family of 4. I appreciate you all for your patience during this special time 🥰

I will start by saying I hold deep space for those who find this post triggering - I know how many accounts I had to mute/unfollow after my miscarriage. Sending so much love to those on a challenging fertility journey 🤍
Pregnancy after loss is a hard place to be. Excitement is replaced by worry. I haven’t wanted to plan for the future, because there is always fear and hesitation in the back of my head.
But, time is ticking! I’m working on laying some bricks for what mat leave will look like this time around. This is where I need your help!
My timeline for returning to work with patients after baby is dependent on child care. If anyone has any wonderful suggestions of someone who could come to our home to provide child care while I treat patients, please send any info my way!
Secondly, if anyone has any leads on a rockstar physiotherapist looking for work, I’m all ears! I would love to have a conversation with anyone looking for part time work, either on a short term or longer term basis. There’s a lot of autonomy and flexibility here at LVP, and I know I’m biased but it’s a pretty great place to work with some pretty great patients 😉

TW: pregnancy loss 💔
For the last two weeks I have been navigating a miscarriage. It sucks. A LOT. I know with time I will be ok…
Then today, a pelvic health patient of mine who has been struggling with pain associated with in*******se for the last two years, revealed that she has finally been able to engage in penetrative s3x for the first time and is now on her conception journey.
Truthfully, I’ve had a very hard time finding any joy the last two weeks. But today I was reminded of the positive impact that my profession can have on people’s lives. Although my conception journey has had this hiccup, I’m beyond honoured to play a small role in helping my patients towards their journeys.
Life is amazing, and then it’s awful, and then it’s amazing again. If anyone else needed this reminder lately, here it is - I’m always happy to be a cheerleader for you ❤️

Today marks the official 1 year anniversary of accepting patients into my at-home physiotherapy practice 🎉
This past year has far exceeded my wildest dreams. To every single one of my patients who have trusted me with their care, and all those who have supported my practice by referring friends, family, and common patients to me - THANK-YOU from the bottom of my heart. ♥️
I spent the first 10 years as a physiotherapist telling myself I would never run my own business - now, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m so grateful I took a leap of faith and trusted the process.
Wishing everyone here a happy and fulfilling 2025! ✨

Every year throughout the month of December, I am overwhelmed by the generosity of my patients who always love to spoil me with gifts, gift cards, and all sorts of treats and baked goods.
I truly appreciate these, however being a supportive patient of mine is the best and only gift I need.
If you are wanting to show your appreciation, I encourage you to consider doing something a little different this year. I would love to use the month of December to gather funds to support .
Every donation brought my way between now and December 31st, I will match on behalf of Lynn Valley Physiotherapy.
I can accept cash, cheque, or e-transfer to [email protected], and I will make a lump sum donation in the New Year.
As always, thank-you for your support ♥️

Aloha! Thank-you for all my patient’s patience as I take a much needed vacation with my family. 🌺
I will have limited access to email and social media while I’m away, and have (reluctantly) left my clinic phone on my desk at home. I will return all messages upon my return! 🌿
Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable end of summer and I look forward to seeing everyone after Labour Day! 🤙🏻

Celebrating half a year of supporting the Norfolk community with their physiotherapy needs! 🎉
First off, THANK-YOU to everyone who has supported me and my practice over these last 6 months. All of my patients who have trusted me with their care, fellow healthcare practitioners who have been referring patients to me, and my friends and family who have been my biggest cheerleaders on the sidelines. My practice has been thriving because of all of the support I’ve received, so thank YOU! 🥰
I’ve officially been accepting patients for 6 full months now. In that time, I’ve:
⭐️ welcomed over 140 patients into my practice
⭐️ done over 800 assessment and treatment sessions
Truthfully, I was very hesitant to open Lynn Valley Physiotherapy. I had a lot of doubt that I was going to have a successful practice here in Norfolk. It’s been so reassuring to experience the growth month to month - I anticipated it was going to take at least a year to build a full caseload - I was busy and thriving within three months 😲
Never in my wildest dreams did I envision this life I’m now living. Becoming a business owner while raising my beautiful daughter with my lovely husband, and being able to do all of this within our dream home has been the most fulfilling experience of my life thus far. I’m SO glad I took the leap and decided to open my practice here in Norfolk - this community is endlessly supportive and I can’t thank everyone here enough 🤍✨
So cheers to the first 6 months, and I look forward to continuing to support my community for years to come!
Endlessly, THANK-YOU ♥️
-Tara

Read this message, and then read it again. S/o to for this - I’ve had this hanging in my treatment space for years now and it’s such an important read for anyone going through physical rehabilitation.
Please reach out if you would like me to be a member of your healthcare team - I would be honoured to help! 🤍

Hi! 🙋🏻♀️ I’m Tara, and I wanted you all to get to know me a little better, so here’s the Cole’s notes on me 😊
▫️I’m the youngest of 4 girls in my family 👧🏻
▫️I grew up in Mississauga, and my parents still live in my childhood home 🏠
▫️After finishing all my schooling, I moved from Mississauga to Burlington where I met my now husband, we eventually moved to Hamilton, and we have now been living in Simcoe for the last two years 🏡
▫️I have a 4 year old golden retriever named Maui 🦮
▫️My husband and I have been married for 2 years, and we had a beautiful wedding on Maui with just our parents present 🌺
▫️My daughter’s name is Charlotte, she was born in October 2022 via unplanned cesarean birth, and she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me 💕
▫️I grew up as a competitive dancer, and did this right through my mid-20s 🩰
▫️When my body couldn’t handle dancing anymore, I took up long distance running - I’ve ran three full marathons including NYC and Chicago, countless half marathons, and Around the Bay x 6 🏃🏻♀️
▫️My favourite movie is Pretty Woman, my favourite show is S*x and the City, my favourite musician is Justin Bieber, and my favourite food is pasta 🍝
▫️I absolutely love my job, and I am deeply honoured when individuals choose me to play a role in their healthcare journey. Truly, THANK-YOU to all of my patients from the past, present, and future ♥️
Thanks for being here and I hope you enjoyed this! 🤍✨
