Our office will be closed on Tuesday, September 30th for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

This day is a time to acknowledge the history and lasting impacts of residential schools, and how we can meaningfully support reconciliation in the work we do and communities we serve.

This spring, Lakefield's Danielle Webster and U of S law students led a weekly Grade 6/7 program at Westmount Community School. Students explored Access to Justice, Systemic Racism, Restorative and Indigenous Justice, and Criminal Law. The program culminated in a Mock Trial at the Court of King’s Bench, where students stepped into the roles of lawyers, witnesses, and jury, with a judge sharing insights and providing a real look at the justice system.
