We talk a lot about "seeing impermanence" in Buddhist teachings - this week we will talk about how we do this, and why it can be freeing for the mind and heart. Ajahn Chah describes seeing impermanence like watching "still, flowing water." We will explore this tonight in step 13 of the Anapanasati Sutta: Mindfulness of Breathing. We will review from step 1, so everyone welcome!

IMAGE DESCRIPTION: The image captures a serene view of Zeden Lake in Saskatchewan. The sky is filled with varied cloud formations. The lake stretches across the lower half of the image, reflecting the sky's colors and clouds in its calm, mirror-like surface. The sky above features a blend of soft pastels, with patches of light blue, grey, and hints of peach near the horizon, indicative of either dawn or dusk. The distant horizon is lined with a silhouette of dense forest, primarily composed of tall evergreen trees. Photo provided by Andrea G. End description.
