Looks like Mother Nature isn’t done with us yet.

A major spring storm is moving into southern and central Saskatchewan today, bringing very strong winds continuing into tomorrow and Friday.

Southerly winds will ramp up first, followed by widespread westerly gusts up to 110 km/h. The system is expected to produce significant impacts across the province, including difficult travel conditions, reduced visibility from blowing dust, and potential damage to roofs, fences, and trees. Rainfall is also expected, with the heaviest amounts in the southwest, adding to localized flooding concerns in some areas.

If you don’t need to be on the road, stay put. If you do travel, use extreme caution and secure loose items outdoors.
