Ecstatic dance came into my life when my life was completely upside down and I was navigating divorce and co-parenting admits a world that had gone mad.

When people ask how I did it the simple answer is, I’ve danced my way through divorce. & it’s true, I ecstatic danced every month for 3 years with my sisters and I still do. Dance allowed me to BE in my body, to move how my body wanted to move, to feel, move emotions and energy through my body. It wasn’t for anyone else but myself.

5 years ago I never would have said this but, ecstatic dance changed my life🥹🔥💃💥

Kings and Queens, what a summer it’s been!

Come gather and celebrate the journey summer was, the high highs and the low lows, all the growth and the evolution within yourself. With the seasons changing, we are witnessing the transition as one flows into routine and structure along with seeing the pure beauty in letting the old fall away.

This Fall Equinox we will honour, feel, reflect and celebrate this cycle of life and allow ourselves to release and make space for the next cycle.

We will gather around the crackling fire on Fairy Island, and allow ourselves to sink into the evening with a short meditation, opening/sharing circle before sitting with warm ceremonial cacao to assist in softening, opening and expanding our hearts before flowing into our somatic practice, ecstatic dance a free movement meditation to move, shift and assist in alchemizing energy and emotions through the body. We will close circle with a sharing circle and connection.

Rain or shine we gather and dance - dress accordingly!

What to bring: Yoga mat, cushion or bolster, blanket, comfortable clothing, cup for cacao, journal, anything you feel called to set your space with + your dancing toes!
