ISC FEE INCREASES EFFECTIVE JULY 29, 2023

Products and services offered by ISC have been affected by the 2023 Annual Fee Review and the extension of their Master Service Agreement with the Government of Saskatchewan (also its largest shareholder) to operate Saskatchewan’s public registries for another two decades.



REALTORS® should be aware that we have heard from some law firms that closing costs can be impacted significantly, as much as $500.00 – $1100.00, which may not provide enough time for your clients to budget appropriately.



Land Registry Fees

The fee for Title Detail (including Title Prints with registrations) will increase from $12.00 to $15.00.
Mortgage discharges will be subject to a fee of $55.00 per interest register or part of an interest register.
The fee for Abstract Detail (including Abstract Prints with registrations) will increase from $12.00 to $15.00.
The fee for change of ownership will change from 0.3 per cent of the value of the title or abstract to 0.4 per cent of the value of the title or abstract. There will be no changes for ownership changes where at least one owner remains the same before and after the transaction.
The fee for mortgage registrations will now be based on the value of the mortgage principal amount. These fees range from $180.00 to $1000.00.
Mortgage discharges will be subject to a fee of $55.00 per interest register or part of an interest register.
Corporate Registry Fees

The fee for Profile Reports will increase from $6.00 to $10.00.
Various registration services have been reviewed and increased; a chart can be found online.

As I write this end of the year summary, Brenda and I are 2 days overdue receiving our 1st Great Grandchild. We are EXCITED! At the end of June we celebrated my completion of 20 years in the Real Estate profession and 10 years as an independant Brokerage. 2022 will also go down as my best year so far in Real Estate. It goes without saying that I should do a big shout out to my family,friends and associates for their referrals and name dropping of me that forms an incredibly high percentage of our actual business.Very much appreciated.Amanda celebrated her 14th year in Real Estate in 2022 and her efforts are a very essential component of our business model.Victoria Bester is also with us combining Real Estate with her young family.We are ever grateful to all our costomers over the past year for selling with us or buying through us and quite a number who have done both.You are very much appreciated!Hope everyone has had a great Christmas and all the best in 2023.

We hope everyone out there is well and been able to avoid the covid virus and truly hope that few have been bruised up too badly from the precautionary isolation. Not to distract from the most pressing issues but certainly hope that now that the PM has devised a plan to remove assault weapons from the law-abiding public we can devise a plan to remove those weapons from the lunatic fringe of our population as well...
