summer fridays—

a few things to remember in the summer with extension care. the heat, sun, chlorine, lake water ,
salt water, sunscreens etc. all cause extensions to be dryer , cest la vie. a few things you can do to help :

+ iles finishing serum before you brush , go outside, in water basically anytime twice a day. it has uv protection and provides all the moisture

+if you do take a dip make sure you put in iles before, braid it and use a clarifying shampoo + mask after

+ deep conditioning mask once a week

+turn the heat on your irons WAY DOWN and try to only use heat on your hair once or twice a week

+only use wide tooth combs and wet brushes . don’t brush extensions when they are soaking wet

+extension safe sunscreen

+simply put - use the right products , avoid harsh conditions and minimize the heat 🤟🏼
