I have not posted in a long time. Thought I would share this picture.

I framed this basement development earlier in the week. I have 2 nail guns out. I do this because of the treated bottom plates. Anytime you use treated lumber your fasteners must be galvanized or coated. Galvanized nails are very expensive compared to regular nails. In order to keep costs down for the customer I only use galvanized nails in the treated plates.

After spending the day scrapping, chipping and sweeping ice off of this floor just to mark interior lines we decided that maybe we should cover it up for the weekend so we don't have to start over on Monday

This time of year is tough.

Its not often that I take on siding and roofing jobs but when it does happen I do love laser straight lines.
