WebbSprout Learning Programs

These are not the final sketches but I wanted to introduce you to the Bug Sprouts!

I’ve had this idea for a while but we thought it would be a future project. Until it became too important to not share… then I drew, we wrote and this always makes me giddy!

I brought them out for Webbsprout Blooms!!! and to promote the need for this fundraising, and show you what I see! The main piece to keep in mind is that we have to ask! 🙂

So just like the seeds we planted outside (my sunflowers are coming up!!!!) the seeds we’ve planted are starting to sprout, it’s exciting, a little chaotic, and honestly pretty glorious.

So this is the rough before clean up and font selection etc… but this is too important not to share! And you can follow to see updated versions. All stories deserve to be told and heard

I’m seeing WebbSprout Blooms finally starting to get the attention it deserves, and you’re putting all the pieces together. One piece we can’t forget is simply asking people to help keep WebbSprout blooming.

So here’s the rough draft. Good art takes time, but important stories deserve to be told even before they’re perfect.

One of the things I’ve learned from watching WebbSprout is that growth is messy. We don’t hide the work behind the scenes. We model what we want kids to learn: you don’t have to be polished to be valuable. You just have to keep growing. Something I remind myself of!

I hope these sketches help people see what I’ve seen here from the beginning.
