🍧 Slushy Day is Back—Tomorrow! 🔬

Get ready for one of our most exciting and refreshing science activities—Slushy Day is happening tomorrow at camp!

Using the melting point manipulation theory, kids will turn juice into slush with salt and ice, learning how salt lowers the melting point of ice to create the perfect chilly treat. 🧊✨ Science has never tasted so cool!

But that’s not all—we have a full day of fun planned:
🐾 Know Your Animal Prints – Create foam animal print stamps
🎆 Fireworks in Water / Lava Lamp – Explore density through colorful, bubbly reactions
🎬 Movie Time – We’ll end the day relaxing with a movie while the kids enjoy the slushies they made themselves!

🌿 Today, we also had a blast learning how to identify simple & compound leaves
☀️ We built solar ovens, made sundials to tell time using the sun, and had fun learning about bugs and their habitats!

🍧 Slushy Science = Summer Fun!
Today at Wowl STEAM Lab, our little scientists made their own slushies — and they were a hit! 😋 Everyone had a blast learning the science behind freezing while enjoying the tasty results. A perfect way to cool off and kick off summer learning!

🎉 And tomorrow is the grand finale of Week 1 Summer Camp for our curious campers (ages 4–9+), packed with fun, creativity, and hands-on science:

🌀 Air Cannons – Feel the power of invisible air!
🏗️ Marshmallow Building – Sweet structures, big imaginations!
🎨 Swan Art – A graceful, hands-on art activity.
🚢 Submarine Building – Explore buoyancy and design your own mini-sub!

Week 2 camp July 7-11: campers will participate in a variety of activities that focus on different aspects of the natural world. They can learn about plants, animals, and ecosystems and participate in hands-on activities like bug collecting or identifying tree species.
