A Heartfelt Thank You from Wildfire Protection Systems
We at Wildfire Protection Systems extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible community for your unwavering support and trust. Our recent deployment of sprinklers to protect Barkerville Historic Town from wildfire threats was a significant milestone, and it wouldn't have been possible without your belief in our mission.
We are immensely proud to see our systems in action, safeguarding such a cherished landmark. Your encouragement fuels our dedication to innovate and enhance our wildfire defense solutions.
A special thank you goes out to the brave firefighters and volunteers who are working tirelessly to keep our communities safe. Together, we are making a difference, preserving history, and protecting lives.
Stay vigilant, stay safe, and thank you for being part of our journey.
Warm regards,

Canada Task Force 1 has conducted a rapid damage assessment in areas deemed safe for entry. However, please be aware that there are still active fires in regions where property assessments couldn't be carried out.
As of August 25th at 2 pm, here are the APPROXIMATE figures:
Total Structural Loss: 131
Partial Structural Damage: 37
Visit our CSRD interactive map at www.CSRD.bc.ca, which will be updated later today based on Canada Task Force 1's assessments. You will be able to search your property address to view its status. We will provide an update once this is released.
Please note that these numbers are approximate, as a full damage assessment was hindered by ongoing wildfires. We are committed to supporting our community members during this challenging time and will be individually contacting property owners to facilitate and assist you.
For inquiries and assistance, please reach out to our EOC at 250-833-3350.
We're here to help to the best of our abilities. Stay safe, everyone.
