Long time, no chat!

It has definitely been a year of less sewing, but I am grateful that my machine is always there waiting.

I’m currently teed up with these two projects: about to quilt a patchwork baby quilt and I have cut a Kristen quilt (pattern by Erica Jackman of Kitchen Table Quilting) from scraps.

I would definitely love to keep utilizing what I already have on hand, but I may need to stock up on some batting and notions to make it happen.

Haven't posted in a long time, I know. Hi! I'm still here; still sewing albeit not as much in 2023 as previous years.
Sharing the finish of the Big Girl quilt for my youngest. I'm happy with how it turned out. Thankfully, she was patient as it wasn't finished until a couple of months past her birthday. This is the "Little Lights" quilt by Modernly Morgan, done in Sugar fabric (and the crown print is from the Reign line by Ruby Star Society). I did upsize the quilt to finish at 72" x 84", so it can be a bed size for her. The backing is a Carolina gingham (woven fabric, not a print), and it gave a lovely drape to the finished quilt.

Currently, at the time of writing, this lovely quilt has a winning bid of $160. Will that be the lucky winner? Seems like a steal for a lovely handmade throw quilt...
