Cancer has touched all of our lives in one way or another. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, a colleague, or a neighbour—we all know the impact it has. It’s more than just a diagnosis; it’s countless appointments, tough conversations, and the courage to keep going in the face of uncertainty.

This year, we are lacing up our sneakers and picking up our sticks to take part in Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer 2025. It’s more than just a day of fun and hockey—it’s a powerful way to come together as a community, raise vital funds, and push forward the research, treatments, and supports that people fighting cancer need and deserve.

Every dollar raised brings us closer to a future where fewer families hear the words “you have cancer.” By supporting our fundraising, you’re not just backing us—you’re standing with every person who has faced this disease and every loved one who has walked alongside them.

We are so proud to play in honour of several key individuals this year:

- To our Vanesa, our current fighter, the superwoman who will NOT quit this fight...we love you Vane!

- To our Julia, our warrior, the inspiration behind our Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer team many many years ago...you make us prouder each and every day!

- To our dad, who won his battle with strength and courage...te amo pai!

And to all those we’ve lost, those still fighting, and the survivors who inspire us all.
