The previous post will provide those who wish to create a Rainwater Harvesting water collection, conservation and diversion system to either reduce their water costs due to water meters or to reduce the pressure and stress of private water sources i.e. drilled well or small lakes and reservoirs.
Keep in mind by using recycled containers and other materials a low cost system can be developed to recover the thousands of liters of Rainwater through the eavestroughs on houses, garages and barns lost each year.

Over the past 4.5 years the Eco-Container Co. has assisted many residents and businesses throughout the Maritimes by providing Food-Grade and Non-Food Grade plastic barrels and instruction through workshops and demonstrations.

The Eco-Container Co. continues to re-cycle plastic containers and create new products including those which can be used to assist in helping people with physical restrictions. There are images of "Raised Planting Beds" and vertical rotating "Composters" both very easy to use and help people continue to be active whiling raising their favour garden produce. The height and length of these garden products can be custom made .

Offering custom built Raised Planting Beds. Those who have restrictions when trying to enjoy gardening at ground level now have the option of having custom raised planting beds of various sizes constructed to help them be active and provide fresh produce.
These Raised Planting Beds can be provided in sections of 35" long by 23" wide and 11-1/2" deep with overall height of is 35".
The use of re-cycled black barrels enhances the heat levels. The half barrel sections have anti-flooding holes in each end 3 inches from the bottom. The frame is made from surplus cedar lumber which can be stained or left natural.
The attached images show a single section and a triple section Raised Planting Beds, Patio Planters and other re-cycled growing containers. Keep in mind different designed can be provide to meet location and space requirements.
