Cymbal capture !!
Having trouble figuring out what is the best OH placement for your cymbals ? I have usually done a direct mic over the left set and right set of cymbals if there is 2 a side then close mic the hat and ride . Lately I have done some X/Y as well when they have more han 4 sets . But i did a session once in ORTF that I found very good . I think Ill go back to that .
