07/07/2026
This year marks 150 years since the signing of Treaty 6, a milestone that offers an opportunity to reflect, learn, gather and honour the living relationships that continue to shape Saskatchewan today.
Guest written by ᐯᒥᐢᑲ Pêmiska Tourism's own Collin Alexander, our latest blog shares 15 meaningful ways to deepen your understanding of Treaty 6 through Indigenous-led tours, historic sites, land-based experiences, art, food and commemorative events across Treaty 6 territory.
The commemoration culminates in the Treaty 6 150th Commemorative Event at Fort Carlton Provincial Historic Park, taking place August 20-23, 2026.
