PCAP Adopt a Rancher

At long last - photos from Adopt a Rancher, with Tom Harrison on Lumsden Beach Camp native prairie pasture and Nicole Anderson's high school students from Miller Composite. It was a great day, with riparian vegetation and rangeland health assessments, discussions of nutrient cycling in liter and cryptobiotic crusts. And, a few ticks!

Hi All. Thanks to all the folks adding this site to their feeds! I’m gearing up to begin reaching out to teachers and ranchers and knowledge holders alike so that PCAP can hit the ground running with a great Adopt A Rancher program when school in September this year.
