The energy conversation Canadian manufacturers can't afford to miss.
On June 17, PLANT Canada is hosting a virtual Energy Summit built for the industrial manufacturers facing rising energy costs and an ever-changing grid.
Three questions are going to anchor this conversation:
🔵 How do you manage rising energy costs without pulling back on production?
🔵 What does a real electrification pathway look like — not in theory, but at the plant level?
🔵 And when grid reliability becomes a variable, not a given, what does future-proofing actually mean?
These aren't policy questions. They're operational ones. And the answers are going to look different for every facility, every portfolio, every region.
Greenwave CEO Dean Clark is proud to be moderating this discussion alongside an exceptional group of panelists: Bill Mercer, Senior Specialist at Capital Power, and Dennis Dussin, Owner and President of Alps Welding Ltd.
If you're working through any of these challenges right now, this is a conversation worth joining. It's free, it's virtual, and it's built around practical takeaways.

Most buildings waste energy every day—often without anyone noticing.
Utility bills and periodic audits only tell part of the story. They miss the hidden inefficiencies at the asset level and the unusual usage patterns that quietly drive up costs and emissions.
Continuous, real-time monitoring changes the game. It reveals exactly where energy, water, and gas are being wasted—sometimes by faulty equipment running longer than needed or leaks that go undetected for months.
What this means for facility managers and building operators is clear: moving from reactive guesswork to proactive, data-driven decisions opens up operational excellence. It's not just about cutting costs; it's about reducing environmental impact with measurable results.
How are you currently tracking your building's hidden energy losses?

🌾 What a week in Brandon, Manitoba!
The Greenwave Innovations team Chetan Goyal & Pierre-André Ranger had an incredible time at the Association of Manitoba Municipalities (AMM) Spring Convention & Trade Show 2026 — and we're leaving with full notebooks, great conversations, and a lot of energy for what's ahead.
Here's what made it special:
🎤 Pierre-André Ranger took the stage to talk about something we're genuinely passionate about — why municipalities deserve better data from their buildings.
🤝 We connected with Mayors, CAOs, Reeves, and municipal leaders from across Manitoba — the people making real decisions about the buildings and infrastructure their communities depend on every day.
💡 From water treatment plants to arenas to brand-new city halls — the conversations we had reminded us exactly why this work matters.
🎵 And yes — the band at the evening event? Absolutely did not disappoint. 🎸🎻
A huge thank you to the Association of Manitoba Municipalities for hosting such a well-organized event and for giving us the opportunity to share our ideas with the province's municipal community.
Manitoba — it was great to meet you. This is just the beginning. 🌾

One of the biggest challenges facing municipalities today isn't the desire to improve their buildings — it's figuring out how to actually pay for it.
Deep building retrofits have a reputation for being expensive and slow. But what if the upfront cost didn't have to fall entirely on the municipality?
This Monday, Greenwave's President & CEO Dean Clark is joining the Climate Caucus Prairies Chapter to explore exactly that — how private capital can be used to finance energy efficiency upgrades in municipal buildings, without the traditional barriers of upfront spend.
The conversation will dig into a data-driven model that combines project management, procurement, and engineering expertise with private equity to help communities self-finance improvements and accelerate delivery.
If you work in municipal government, facilities, or sustainability — this is a session worth attending.
