Nobody said it is easy especially if the person you need to forgive is yourself, but once you learned the pathway towards forgiveness well then, I guess, it is truly an amazing journey as the book said.

Well, let's finish this book by Lysa Terkeurst and see if it will work for me.

We can all agree with that, being a parent is not easy, because we too, have our own unlovable human moments, and when we have a relationship with God as our Father, we can always seek and receive comfort from Him during our trying times, and, therefore we have loads of love to return to our children, the same kind of love that we have received from our Lord.

My kids are a fan of lego toys. We used to buy them some nice sets as a reward or they get them as gifts not just from us but from family and friends. Of all the toys, it is lego that I appreciate the most. It imbibes creativity, makes not just a kid, but grownups as well, to use their imagination, strengthen their focus on finding and connecting the parts(with the teeny tiniest part, who wouldn't 🙄). Recently, Jeshuah found this new set that he has been waiting to be releases for quite some time. Back in Dubai, they only have to wait for a week and get it as reward for good behaviour. But our circumstances have changed and thankfully they are adapting. Knowing we cannot afford it, he and his sister, tok out their old classic (2) set(s) and decided to mix them up. He told me, it's okay mom, if we mix them, then we can make a whole lot of lego creations out of these blocks 🥰. It warmed my heart. I used to ask God what good have I done in the past to deserve him, to be chosen to take care, nurture and raise a special child like him. I felt I am not worthy. Over time, I realized it's actually the other way around, God gave me this kid to save me, so I could have a better understanding of myself, Jeshuah gave me answers to the many questions I had when I was growing up, he made me want to be a better person, though I am still struggling to be one. Having him being born with ADHD and Autism, it was not an accident of nature, it was never because of negligence due to pregnancy. To the Autism and ADHD moms like me, it was never the food that we ate, not the things we did or didn't do, it was fate, it was meant to be. We are stronger than we know, we'll just have to find that strength in our hearts.
