Goose and George have spent their puppyhood waiting.

These sweet, sensitive Husky/Shepherd/Lab boys have done everything asked of them. They've gone to the adoption events, greeted strangers with gentle tails and hopeful eyes, soaked up every cuddle, and quietly stolen the hearts of everyone they meet.

People always tell them how wonderful they are.

And then they leave.

One by one, their siblings found families of their own, and they sat quietly and watched them head home. Now Goose and George are the last of their litter still waiting for someone to choose them.

It's hard to understand why.

They are kind, quiet souls who ask for so little. They don't push their way to the front or demand attention. Instead, they sit patiently beside you, content just to be near their people. Gentle, loving, and endlessly sweet, they have spent months showing the world what good boys they are.

They've put in their time.

They've gone to the events. They've met the families. They've watched countless people walk by.

And still, no one has said, "That's my dog."

Somewhere out there is a family who will see what everyone else passes by—a loyal companion, a gentle heart; a dog who has been waiting far too long for a place where they belong... But maybe that's you.

Calling all husky lovers!!!

Mya was abandoned by her family months ago, but it hasn't completely gotten her down! She spent time in the shelter and is now making her self VERY comfortable in a foster home...we're hoping she can find her forever before she has to go back to the shelter.

Mya is an absolute sweetheart, who just needs a patient owner who will show her that she won't ever be abandoned again. She needs someone that will prove that she can trust that feeling of home and comfort - a person that shows her what a home truly is.

Maya is great in the house - she is housetrained and crate trained. We're fairly sure she is good to be free in the house as well.

She is good with other dogs, but does have a tad bit of leash reactivity.

Cats aren't her favourite thing in the world. We'd rather she go to a home without cats, or cats that are extremely dog savvy.

She loves people of all shapes and sizes!

Outdoors is her favourite place to be. She is good on a leash and pretty good with recall - she is a husky afterall, so sometimes she decides that something is way more exciting than coming back to you...

She thinks water is the best place ever and doesn't mind being a soggy dog!

She is super food motivated - but isn't fooled by kibble. She'll do allll that things for the good treats!

Mya is a medium energy, 6 year old husky cross who is up to date on her shots, dewormer, microchip and spay for an adoption fee of $250. She is located in RED DEER.

Why not check out the Tractor Show at the L.A. Vintage Machinery Grounds in Lacombe? There's so much to do - and fun for all ages!

We'll be there with Kitchee, Boots, Gizmo, Gremlin and Scamper - all looking for their forever homes!

🐾 Poor Scamper 🐾

We thought Scamper's forever family was coming for him.

The meet was booked.

But tonight, he's still here - after three months in care...he's still here.

He came to us just over 3 weeks old, with no mama - just a little baby who was doing his very best to survive.

Then, Parvo decided to rear it's ugly head...and the odds weren't in his favor. He was so fragile and tiny...honestly, we weren't expecting him to beat it.

But Scamper is a fighter. He beat the odds and now he's a sweet and silly with just a dash of sassy thrown in.

He's happy and healthy now and has learned so much in foster care - not only how to be a "dog" (things his mama should have taught him...but the other foster pups in care did instead!) but he's also learned how to be an amazing addition to a family.

He's crate trained and almost potty trained.
He's great with dogs and cats and kids.
He's great on a regular leash and collar (he hates slipleads!)
His manners are a work in progress but he's doing better and better every day!

He's also a great snuggler and loves being around his people. He's a goofy little guy who will keep a smile on your face at all times. He loves adventures, and would love to go on all of them with his forever family.

We don't know what breed Scamper is - we just know he's 100% the goodest boi and he deserves the best life, after the tumultuous start his had.

Scamper is up to date on shots, dewormer, microchip and eligible for a delayed neuter for an adoption fee of $600.

He will be available to meet at the Lacombe Tractor Show this weekend!
