Christelle Bilodeau - Portrait Artist

😵‍💫 I was looking for a good subject for a "blurry" study. I recently read 's new memoir Famesick and I just knew I had to draw her. (I started and never finished her portrait back in 2014 - yup, Girls was THE show of my 20s and I still revisit it every year) I found a picture I liked and tweaked it in Photoshop. I will share more thoughts in future posts.. but to me this blurry portrait encapsulates very much the feeling of being Famesick and what life must be with chronic illness. I can't wait to see how this one will go...Work in progress, graphite pencils on 18x24 paper...
