Volta is enriched by people from around the world who now call Canada their home. Brought together through art, they have helped shape our community and make both our studio and our country shine brighter heart

En ce 1er juillet, nous célébrons les nombreux parcours qui ont réuni nos artistes et ont fait de notre studio ce qu’il est aujourd’hui.

Volta s’enrichit de personnes venues des quatre coins du monde qui ont choisi le Canada comme terre d’accueil. Rassemblées par l’art, elles ont contribué à façonner notre communauté et à faire rayonner davantage notre studio ainsi que notre pays. heart

We're excited to share some of the concept art we created for Interstellar Arc, an immersive VR attraction from Felix & Paul Studios.

While most of our work revolves around video games, projects like this give us the opportunity to explore entirely different kinds of experiences. For Interstellar Arc, our team helped concept environments, creatures, and interactive moments that would eventually become part of a life-sized space station experience spanning over 9,000 square feet.

The attraction blends physical sets with virtual reality, allowing visitors to explore both the interior and exterior of a space station, discover mysterious flora and fauna, and breathtaking photorealistic environments. It was a fascinating challenge to help shape a world designed not for a screen, but for people to step directly inside.

A huge thank you to Felix & Paul Studios for their trust and collaboration throughout this project. special recognition goes to our artists for the incredible work they did, bringing so many imaginative ideas to life.

Throwback Thursday to some of the organic 3D assets we created for New World back in 2018.

Sometimes, we dig through the thousands of projects that we worked on and find some small jewels from the past like this one. For this collaboration, we teamed up with our sister studio Liquid Development to help build more life and variety to the game’s wilderness. Getting these twisted roots and overgrown flora right was a real challenge! Our goal was to create assets that felt natural but that would also fit in the rich storytelling of New World.
