We had a somewhat awkward alcove in a spare bedroom/office. We ordered the kit and downloaded the plans from ezdiymurphybed.com. The entire cut and build took about two days followed by another full day of fitting, trimming out and painting. A pretty straightforward project with super detailed (possibly overly detailed) instructions. On a scale of 10 for difficulty I'd give this a 5 if you have the necessary space and equipment.
