🐑Thinking about moving your lambing or kidding season to May or June? 🐐
Join the CFGA Young Ranchers Network on Wednesday, July 22 at 6:00 PM (BC PT) for an honest conversation with three producers who have made the switch.
Our producer panel will share:
🌱Why they changed their lambing/kidding dates
🌱The benefits they've experienced
🌱The challenges they faced
🌱Grazing management strategies that made it work
🌱Lessons learned and advice for others considering the change
Whether you're curious about later lambing or kidding, looking to reduce labour and feed costs, or simply want to hear real-world experiences from fellow producers, this is a discussion you won't want to miss.

CFGA recently joined partners and producers from across British Columbia for a rangeland tour celebrating the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP) 2026.
The tour highlighted the importance of healthy rangelands, sustainable grazing practices, and the people who steward these landscapes every day. From supporting biodiversity and wildlife habitat to strengthening rural communities and food production, rangelands play a vital role across Canada.
