I recently had the privilage of a photo session with Diesel and his family. Following is from his family.

Today I sit by the sea and as I write this I prepare myself for what is to come.
Many things will be faced in the following days and all of them I am grateful for, all of them I have to look forward to.
Most importantly, and what is taking all of my effort to prepare for....I will be saying goodbye to a very close companion, our 11 year old English Mastiff, Diesel. This special and unique relationship has blessed me.
To my boy Diesel,
I have enjoyed the gifts of your trust and loyalty. The love we share has been cultivated through the experiences of your lifetime. My friend, I have watched and cared for you as you have grown from infancy to adolescence and in return you have watched over me and our family through your maturity. You have been the commonality in our family for 11 years as we have had all our stuggles with one another it's has been your love and devotion to each of us that has kept the connections in our family alive.
Unwavering, through the unconditiional support of your presence, you have shown us all compassion, understanding, and acceptance in our times of need. Your guardianship has blessed us all and you have touched our hearts profoundly.
My Friend, I have been blessed to know you. It has been my honor to love and care for you on this part of your journey. I have learned so much. Your gifts of love and loyalty have been showered upon me. Thank you so much for loving me and watching over our family. Our hearts are all fuller for having known you.
Safe travels my friend. May you find the Rainbow Bridge waiting for you and may our souls recognize each other again.
