Last week our library team spent two days at Carrier Sekani Family Services’ Nowh Guna’ Carrier Culture Training.
The workshop covered Carrier history, language, and worldviews, the lasting impact of residential schools, and how to build trust and meaningful relationships. It deepened our understanding of the context we work within here at UNBC, and we had a lot of fun along the way.

As part of National AccessAbility Week, we’re showing our support for Canadians living with disabilities and pledging to help make our spaces more accessible and inclusive for people of all abilities. The library is for everyone.
