When I first signed on as a consultant and instructor at the Skip Barber Racing School, Jim Clark was a senior instructor, working mainly at Lime Rock Park (racetrack) in Lakeville, Connecticut. A fine man and innovative instructor, with a wonderful droll sense of humour. I had lots of knowledge, based on years of international racing and coaching, but was nervous as a wet cat when doing presentations to U.S. audiences. I struggled to get used to the surprisingly different culture in the Eastern States. From Jim and other senior instructors I learned to deal with those nerves, which has helped me in so many ways. Jim was a strong supporter of mine from the start. He died recently, and will be sorely missed by all his friends and colleagues.

Funny how stories about the Kardashians, The Bachelor, and other at least partially fake reality shows actually make the news. Mountain Men, Ice Road Truckers, Naked and Afraid, and many of that ilk have been shown to be largely staged. I am also wildly uninterested in Lewis Hamilton's dating life.
