Welcome to the farm, little ones… 🌿✨

Our gentle Flemish Giant rabbit mama has quietly welcomed a nest of new life into the world 💖

Tucked away in warmth and fur, we counted about nine tiny babies, though for now, we’re giving her the space she needs to nurture, rest, and bond in peace.

There’s something so sacred about these early days… soft breaths, hidden hearts, and the quiet rhythm of motherhood unfolding just as it should 🌸

We’ll share more as they grow and begin to peek out into the world… but for now, we celebrate this sweet, tender beginning ✨

Very exciting days here at Fable Farm 🤍🐇

🌿🐾 New Life at Fable Farm 🐾🌿

On March 22nd, we welcomed 9 healthy, beautiful puppies into the world 🤍

Our incredible mama (purebred Australian Shepherd) has done an amazing job, and these little ones are already strong, content, and growing fast.

Dad is a Bernese Mountain Dog × Caucasian Shepherd, 🐕 creating a powerful blend of intelligence, loyalty, protection, and calm temperament.

✨ These pups are being raised right here on our farm: Exposed to ducks, chickens, sheep & goats
– Surrounded by the natural rhythm of farm life
– Handled daily by our children.

We are intentionally raising them to become well-rounded farm and family dogs.

🌾 This mix brings together:

✔️ Strong herding instinct & trainability
✔️ Natural guarding ability
✔️ Deep loyalty to their people
✔️ Calm, steady presence on the land

🤍 We are now accepting reservations for these future farm helpers.

Serious inquiries only.
Please message us for pricing and deposit details.
If you’re looking for a dog that can truly be part of your farm and your family… these babies are something special 🌿🐾

✨ 100 Followers Thank You!!! ✨

There’s something quietly magical about this little corner of the world we’re building… and today, we’re celebrating you being part of it 🤍

We’ve just reached 100 followers on Fable Farm.
100 people who care about slow mornings, fresh eggs, muddy boots, growing things, and raising animals with intention.

100 people who believe in something a little softer, a little more rooted, a little more real.
From the bottom of our hearts!! 💕 thank you!

This farm is still growing. Still becoming.
And it means more than we can say to have you here, watching it unfold with us.

There are so many stories ahead…
More animals, more harvests, more lessons, more laughter (and probably a few more tipped grain bags along the way 😉)

We’re so glad you’re here for it.

✨ The First Spring Baby On Fable Farm 2026 ✨

This morning, tucked between melting snowbanks and hay, our first spring baby arrived 🐑

A tiny ram lamb,
5.20 pounds of brand-new life,
still wobbly on his legs,
still learning how the world works.

His mama cleaned him carefully,
nudging him gently toward his first steps
and the warm comfort of milk.

There’s something about the first baby of the year that feels a little magical. It’s the moment winter finally loosens its grip. The moment the farm begins to wake up again.

Soon there will be more lambs, more chicks, more garden soil turning over under the sun…

but this little guy gets the honor of starting it all.

Welcome to the world, little ram.
Spring has officially begun at Fable Farm. 🌱

Winter has a way of asking us to slow down.
To listen. ❄️

To notice the stillness instead of rushing past it.
Here, in the heart of the calm, the farm rests under snow, quiet paths, frosted branches, mornings that arrive softly.

This season invites reflection and gratitude for the pause… for early nights, warm kitchens, and the peace that settles in when the land sleeps.
And yet, beneath the snow, our hearts are already wandering forward.

We find ourselves daydreaming of what’s to come:
of the first peeps from the brooder, tiny lambs and kids learning to stand on wobbly legs,
soft baby bunnies tucked into warm nests,
soil warming under our hands, seeds becoming rows, and flowers returning color to the edges of the days.

Winter is not empty here.
It’s full of hope.
A season of rest.
A season of imagining.
A season that quietly holds the promise of everything growing again.

Tiny Hearts, Speckled Treasures 🥚 🐣

Today we welcomed the tiniest new flock to Fable Farm…

a little bundle of six soft-footed, bright-eyed quail, each one shaped like a puff of wild meadow magic. 🪶✨

They arrived in a rustling box of feathers and curiosity, and the moment we opened it, the whole room felt like it held its breath as if the farm itself knew something sweet had just begun.

These little wanderers may be small, but oh, the joy they bring. Their feet patter like raindrops, their chirps sound like secrets, and their feathers shimmer like they’re stitched from dusk and clover.

And soon…
tiny speckled treasures will begin to appear
little quail eggs tucked like pearls in the morning light. 🤎✨

We are so excited for the gentle rhythm of gathering these miniature gifts each day…
a soft reminder that magic often arrives in the smallest packages.

For now, they’re exploring their new cozy space, dust-bathing, chattering quietly to one another, and settling into farm life with the sweetest little hearts.

Welcome home, sweet quail.
We’re so grateful you’re here
and we can’t wait to share your tiny stories as they unfold. 🪶🌾🤍

🍂 🦃 From Grain to Grace 🦃 🍂

As Thanksgiving draws near, many are preparing their tables with gratitude, love, and maybe even a home-raised turkey at the center.

Store birds can cost many times more than it takes to raise one but that difference isn’t about judgment, it’s about where those extra dollars go.

When you buy directly from a small farm, your Thanksgiving story becomes part of ours:

✨ That little extra helps pay for dance lessons for a twirling four-year-old.

✨ It fills the ducks’ treat buckets and keeps the goats’ hay racks full.

✨ It supports the daily rhythm of a family working close to the land.

So from our small homestead to your home we wish you a warm, abundant, and meaningful Thanksgiving. May your table be full, your hearts be light, and your gratitude stretch from grain to grace.

🦃 With thanks, from Fable Farm.

🌸 A Wing That Wanted to Wander (Part One)

Every creature here at Fable Farm has a tale to tell, and this week it’s our young Muscovy drake who has written himself into the story. I noticed his wing had begun to drift outward, like a little flag catching the breeze a curious thing called angel wing.

Though it sounds heavenly, it can trouble a duck’s flight if left alone. So we’ve given him a gentle helping hand a soft wrap snug against his feathers, and plenty of peas sprinkled with vitamins (his favorite little treasure). Nothing harsh, just a tender nudge, reminding his wing how to grow the right way.

For now, he waddles happily with the flock, carrying his bandage like a badge of hope. And we wait, with patient hearts, to see if his wing will settle back into place.

✨ Stay tuned for Part Two of his tale, perhaps the sweetest stories are the ones where healing quietly unfolds.

When the sun beats down in blazing waves,
And even the breeze forgets to behave
We offer relief in a summertime feat:
A shimmering, glistening, frozen treat.
🍑 🍒 🍓 🫛

The Muscovies waddle, eyes all aglow,
Toward berry blocks chilled and ready to go.
With curious quacks and happy feet,
They nibble and sip at their icy sweet.
🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆

It’s a dance of delight in the midday heat,
A farmyard moment both simple and sweet.
Because even ducks, in their feathery grace,
Deserve a little magic when the sun’s in their face. 🌞
