Before PG Rental Centre called 1669 South Lyon Street home, this address had a very different kind of business.

This newspaper ad from June 15, 1982 announced the very first auction at Jerry Danchuk Auctions' new Prince George facility. From drill presses and hydraulic presses to boats, water skis, furniture, appliances, and even a 350 Chevy motor block, you never knew what might go home with the highest bidder!

It's always fascinating to look back at the businesses that helped shape our community and the history behind the places we know today.
