Yesterday members of the Prince Albert Police Service were honoured to attend the Canada Day celebrations held by the Royal Canadian Legion.

Thanks to our local Legion (Br #2) for the invitation as they mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion in Prince Albert.

Last week, these five officers graduated from class #92 at the Saskatchewan Police College and will now come back to Prince Albert and begin their policing careers in our community.

The Prince Albert Police Service offers our condolences to the families, friends, loved ones, and colleagues of Ontario Provincial Police Constable Tarun Bali and Toronto Police Service Constable Marc Pinizzotto who were both killed in the line of duty this week.

Both Cst. Bali and Cst. Pinizzotto's courage and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
