ReNew Art Faire preview:

Image 1: Willow avenue / Catherine -
Catherine Langevin (the artist behind Willow Ave.) is a willow weaver based in qathet, BC, with a focus on creating sustainable, functional pieces like foraging baskets, backpacks, and home decor. Her work is inspired by a deep commitment to living gently with the earth, with each creation reflecting this intention. Beyond her craft, Catherine is passionate about teaching. She offers weaving workshops across the Sunshine Coast, Lower Mainland, and Vancouver Island, where she shares her love of weaving and empowers others to create their own sustainable woven pieces.

Image 2: Found Stone Jewelry~Art~Decor -
Suzi Wiebe is the owner of Found Stone Jewelry~Art~Decor, a local artist based in Powell River BC. Suzi creates Whimsical Beach Glass Art and Decor found on the shores of the Salish Sea. Her work is humorous, heartwarming and allows people to see themselves, family and friends reflected in her art.

Image 3: Trash to Treasure -
When Carmen retired she decided to teach herself how to sew again with thrifted fabric and garments. She transforms someone's trash into a treasure, making a variety of items that are sold at the Farmers Market and Craft Fairs.

Look forward to these artists work and much more, Saturday April 25, 2026 from 10-4pm at Dwight Hall.

The ReNew Art Faire is free event taking place at the iconic Dwight Hall.
It will feature the work of over 30 artists from qathet, Vancouver Island and surrounding areas who are pushing the limits of traditional craftsmanship by using upcycled, recycled and sustainable materials.
