Oyster Farm Cleanup! 🦪

We were out in Okeover this week completing a seafloor cleanup for a local shellfish farm, removing submerged oyster cages and other farm-related debris from the bottom.

Storms and wear can sometimes send equipment overboard, and it’s always great to help keep things cleaned up and the seafloor clear.

A curious little octopus stopped by to check out the action — after a quick visit, it was safely put back where we found it. 🐙

These are the jobs that feel good. Supporting local aquaculture while protecting the marine environment we all rely on.
