Working with Martin during his HYROX training.
HYROX athletes don’t just train hard — they recover with intention.
Because when your body is constantly pushing through running, sled pushes, carries, lunges, rowing, wall balls, and high-intensity work, recovery becomes part of the performance plan.
Treatment isn’t only for when something hurts.
It’s how we help the body move better, tolerate more load, reduce tension, restore mobility, and stay ready for the next session.
For athletes competing in HYROX, every detail matters: how you train, how you recover, how you breathe, how you move, and how well your body can handle repeated demand.
At Active Origin, we don’t see treatment as “extra.”
We see it as part of the work.
Because strong athletes don’t just push harder.
They take care of the body that carries them through every rep, every race, and every finish line.
🎥:
Performance isn’t only built in the gym.
It’s built in the way you recover, the way you move, and the way you take care of your body between sessions.
Treatment isn’t just for injuries — it’s part of staying strong, consistent, and ready for what you love to do.
At Active Origin, we treat recovery as part of performance.
Lower body stiffness can directly affect how a hockey player moves, skates, cuts, and performs on the ice. 🏒
In today’s treatment, Moe is working with a hockey player focusing on ankle mobility and hip mobility — two key areas for skating efficiency, power, and overall performance.
When the ankles and hips move better, the athlete can generate more control, better stride mechanics, and reduce unnecessary restriction through the lower body.
Recovery isn’t separate from performance.
It’s part of it.

Strong doesn’t happen by accident.
This session was built with purpose: assessing how Jennifer moves, where her body is holding tension, and what needs to be released so she can train, recover, and perform better.
Massage therapy isn’t just about feeling better.
It’s about building a body that can handle more.
Move better. Recover smarter. Get stronger. 🦾🦾🦾

IASTM — Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization — is one of the techniques we use when the body needs more targeted work.
Using specialized tools, we work through tight tissue, restrictions, and areas under stress from training, impact, posture, or repetitive movement.
In this case, we’re working around the abdominal and thoracic regions — areas that play a huge role in breathing, rotation, posture, and overall movement.
This kind of work can help support mobility, reduce tension, improve blood flow, and help the body recover with more intention.
It’s not always gentle work.
But it’s precise work.
Because when the body has been holding stress, recovery needs to be intentional too.
