Spin Animation
A last-minute script change on the die Mobiliar Festakt project left us with just a couple of weeks to rethink and redo 45 seconds of animation. It was a race against the clock. - But honestly, Some of the best ideas come from that kind of pressure. Writer Roman Riklin came up with a thrilling new plot and it was a matter of furnishing it with visual storytelling and gags. In the final stage, everyone pulled together to smooth it out. Thanks to director Nadine Imboden and producer Angéline Wilisch!
In this clip, I’m breaking down:
The Art of the Gag - Adding comedy while staying in service of the story.
The Technical Side - A look at compositing with masks to keep the workflow fast and clean.
Dog Rule #1: What happens in the dark, stays in the dog. 🌭🐕🦺
