🩸 Thank You, Port Moody!

Our community showed up in a big way at Tuesday’s Blood Donor Clinic — and because of you, we didn’t just meet our goal… we surpassed it.

Our target was 97 units, and together you donated 101, bringing us to 104% of our goal.

That’s impact. That’s community. That’s Port Moody.

To every donor, volunteer, partner, and supporter — thank you for helping save lives and strengthening the spirit of our city.

It’s Emergency Preparedness Week and as part of that, the Province is testing the BC Emergency Alert system. The tests help make sure the system is working in case of an actual emergency.

⚠️The next test is tomorrow (May 6th) at 1:55 PM. ⚠️

Some phone carriers may do silent tests of their systems a bit before the official test. This means depending on your phone’s settings, you may receive an early alert message without sound.  If you have an app that notifies you of emergency information (Alertable, Voyant Alert! etc.), you may also receive the alert there.
