How do you generate curiosity and excitement around a traditionally stuffy topic like financial management? This was the problem that Billi, an app that makes tracking personal finances friendly, fun, and easy, was looking to solve.
We matched Billiās fresh optimistic take on finances with a social media campaign that ditched āBank blueā and embraced bright colours and playful illustrations. Our eye-catching designs merged simplified product shots with dynamic typography, to highlight Billiās main and encourage further exploration.

Nitro needed to elevate its position in the market and show its strength as an enterprise-level all-in-one PDF platform.
As part of their rebrand, we created an isometric illustration system that utilized dynamic lines, atmospheric glow, and directional lighting to show the breadth of Nitro's PDF tools while also showing how these connected tools can help people work faster (and happier) with PDF's.

For half a decade, Danny has put his heart and soul into the often thankless job of keeping our lights on, ensuring our initiatives run like clockwork, and saving our group of creative dreamers from floating off into space.

Did you know you become a UX Designer every time you select an emoji? šØ Shigetaka Kurita created the first set of emoji's in 1999 to improve the interface of low-res tech (RIP flip phones and pagers). These simple symbols helped users travel through the device without gobbling up the precious screen real estate text labels demand and allowed designers to communicate complex information, ideas, and direction more efficiently.š”
Today, we use emoji's in the same way: adding depth, emotion, and context to our written communication that would otherwise be too difficult or inefficient to achieve with words aloneā providing our users (friends, co-workers, family etc. š) with a better communication experience.

BRAND DESIGN
Nitro's company mascot, the Nitronaut, was in serious need of an update to match the brand's bold new aesthetic.
We re-envisioned this character, using dramatic lighting, a vibrant sense of movement, and a humanistic brush to embody the ambition, passion, and drive of the Nitro team.
The end result is a Nitronaut that feels dynamic, heroic, and ready to take on the world.

LOGO REDESIGN
The challenge with the sonar logo was to pay homage to its predecessor while also representing a future-friendly vision for the company. The concept is based on Sonarās product lineādetection and protection.
Whales use sonar beams for navigation and targeting prey. The team used the waves of Sonarās old logo to create the ventral pleats of this friendly mascot.
Once this was established, a custom typeface was created for the word mark that reflected the tech-based industry Sonar is a part of and shapes seen in the whale logo mark (the fins and flukes).
