Hi, I’m Valerie — the owner and face behind Nested Roots Senior Support 🌿

I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself. I’ve been living in BC for 11 years, and started Nested Roots almost three years ago.

I’m a Mom to my wonderful 7-year-old son, and we live in Port Moody with our two cats. I grew up in a small town in Ontario, but BC truly feels like home now. In my free time, I love yoga, reading, and getting outside for a walk or paddle board when the weather’s nice.

I’m constantly in awe of the beauty here, and so grateful for the community we’ve built. My son loves his school, and we’ve met some incredible people along the way. (Also… I don’t think I could handle Ontario winters anymore 😄)

Since starting my business, I’ve had the privilege of supporting some amazing clients. Over time, those relationships grow into something really special — it often feels like extended family as we move through different seasons of life together.

I’m so grateful to do this work, and I look forward to many more years of supporting seniors and their families in the Tri-Cities. Thank you for making Nested Roots such an important part of my life 💛

Nested Roots was founded to support seniors who wish to remain in their homes but need help with specific tasks before transitioning to full-time care. 

I’m so proud to be doing what I love and truly value the opportunity to support individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.
