WHY IS LINE LOCATING SO IMPORTANT?
We were called out to line locate a power line running from the meter to a shop.
The homeowner was installing a barbed wire fence and needed us to locate the line before he finished pounding his posts into the ground.
When we showed up, we located the line and found that the line was less than a foot from the pole.
He just missed the line.
Just shows how important it is to call before you dig. Or in this case, pound posts.

This job was also done at the Ponoka Agricultural Centre.
So previously we were asked to line locate, but then we were called back to install a sump pump system.
The water was absorbed out of the main gravel road (to avoid erosion) and was put into a well.
All the extra water out of the well was then pumped into their ditches.
The videos are of us trenching the cable in, connecting the receptacle in the well, through the building and into the main panel.
