created this design at a workshop hosted by my cousin and Wes Antone from q̓ʷa:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ 🤲🏼 very excited to make some prints of this digitized version soon and use this piece in some upcoming future projects!

my sil’ə used to call this mountain Sleeping Lady or Sleeping Beauty. i’ve searched through our ethnographic notes and haven’t found any related stories, but i’m sure it is a transformation story and i won’t stop looking. even if there isn’t recorded evidence of it, i still count it as one of my family’s oral stories 🥰
