Big thank you to Kiddo Active Therapy in Pointe Claire Shops and 3 Soeurs BOLS who both stepped up to accept food donations for us! As of tomorrow, you can conveniently drop off food donations (see below) at either location. Friends helping friends...together we make a difference!

Yesterday I was suppose to post this picture, letting our community know that while our number of families we are serving is at its highest, our donations are at their lowest.

Instead of making that post, we came into work to find our warehouse flooding. Our staff and volunteers spent the day trying to keep up with the water, while still making sure all our families got their food for the week. We didn’t close our doors because we know our families rely on us.

We are so lucky to have a team and community that put our clients first.

That being said, our shelves are emptying faster than we can restock them. Right now we urgently need food donations to keep up with the growing need to help keep our shelves stocked and ensure no one who comes to us leaves empty-handed.

Some of our most needed items include:

* Canned proteins (tuna, chicken, beans, lentils)
* Cereal and oatmeal
* Canned soups
* Tomato sauce
* Crackers
* School snacks
* Canned fruits and vegetables
* Rice
* Bagged lentils

If you’ve been thinking about helping, now is the time. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
