In the new geopolitical arena, it is no longer just the military that is making impact on the long term trajectory of global affairs, it is also the digital technology that has penetrated and permeated the social, economics and political fabrics of nations. In the age of technology the political, economical and social sovereignty is disappearing fast. The new era is the digital slavery. Who owns your data? Who owns the digital landscape, the new wars will be fought less with bullets and more with digits.

Simply put , to be sovereign, countries must have independent data structures, computing platforms and cyber security measures in place. Why? Because the country through which most of the global data flows is no longer an honest trustworthy and impartial custodian of the data.

Military industrial complex is now Military industrial and intelligence complex, where they broker almost all of the data in world and the empire is thirsty for more preying,control and more enslavement and entrapment of unsuspecting client states and customers.

So the question is, should each country develop their own digital landscape to remain competitive sovereign and independent?
