D&R almost didn’t survive its first month! We officially opened on May 1, 1971 and just 20 days later, the original facility was destroyed by fire. Air tanks exploded through the roof, equipment melted from the heat, and nearly everything was lost.

We then rented temporary shop space, repaired the one machine that survived the fire, and kept moving forward.

Fifty five years later, that same resilience still defines the company.
